Tae: American Lopez wins gold
ATHENS, Aug 28 Reuters - Steven Lopez of the United States retained his Olympic taekwondo
title tonight after beating Turkey's Bahri Tanrikulu in the men's under 80kg final.
After an even first round, Lopez, a double world champion, opened up a two-point gap
and eventually won 3-0.
Yossef Karami of Iran took bronze after beating Rashad Ahmadov of Azerbaijan.
