The next Ryder Cup won't lack any intensity from the U.S. captain.
Curtis Strange pledged Monday to bring the same sense of purpose that carried him to consecutive U.S. Open victories in making sure the cup stays on American soil.
A month after the United States staged the greatest comeback in Ryder Cup history and infuriated Europe with on-course celebrations, Strange gave no indication that the matches were getting out of hand or that his primary responsibility will be diplomacy.
